About the Health Service
This leading mental health service provides specialised care for older persons with mental health challenges, including those with complex dementia presentations. The multidisciplinary team delivers inpatient and community-based services, ensuring comprehensive and patient-centred care.

Position Details
As a Specialist Medical Practitioner, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, holistic care to older adults with mental health and complex medical needs.

• Undertake comprehensive medical assessments, including history-taking, examinations, investigations, and treatment planning.

• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and provide expert recommendations.

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, teaching programs, and research activities.

Job Details:

• Fixed-term part-time position (60.8 hours per fortnight) until 31 August 2025.

• Salary: AUD $216,300 - $310,389 per annum, pro rata, plus allowances and incentives.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty.

• Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
