Position Details
As a Staff Specialist in Psychiatry, you will:

• Provide expert assessment and management of patients within the department.
• Deliver high-quality care in accordance with best practice standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring of medical students and junior staff.
• Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.

Job Details:

• Permanent full-time position, with flexible working arrangements available.
• Competitive salary: $207,165 - $253,495 per annum.
• Additional allowances and incentives available for eligible candidates.
• Participation in an after-hours on-call roster.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Medical registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent specialist recognition.
• High level of written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation.
• Strong professional ethics and commitment to high-quality patient care.
