Salary Expectations
The below pay rates and salary guides are based on current market offering and must take into account an individual's seniority and experience, in addition to the location and role requirements
Permanent Non-Specialist Surgeon can expect salaries of $90,000 - $200,000 per annum
Permanent Consultant Surgeon can expect salaries of $250,000 - $400,000+ per annum
Locum Junior Doctors can expect pay rates of $85 - $180 per hour
Locum Consultant General or Orthopaedic Surgeon can expect pay rates of $2,000 - $3,000 per day depending on location and demand for skill
